Rule #348: Abortion

I'd like us to be able to solve this problem now. And we can. But unfortunately, it will have to wait until January 6th.
For now, it should remain a woman's choice. Unless there is a father or family member who can provide and is willing to assume responsibility for the child. What kind of life can we expect for a child born to someone who was forced to carry them for 9 months, then doesn't have the means or desire to provide? Abortion needs to be legal so it can be regulated and provided in a clean, controlled environment by professionals.
But ONLY UNTIL we implement rule #1. Rule #1, which will roll out on January 6th 2014, will make abortion unnecessary and therefore illegal. Rule #1 will solve a lot, if not most, of the worlds problems. However, with it being a bit controversial, I think I'll refine it a bit before presenting it.

In the new world, abortion will be unnecessary.
Until then, legalize everywhere.

  1. One word... abstinance... if you are gonna lay down, you better be prepared to provide. Children having children... I'm personally sick of providing for all the little bastards of the world. I have my own family to take care of.

    1. oooh, I'm sure abstinence (spelled right) will solve everything....including rape, incest and all the other "problem children" you undoubtedly include as bastards.
In your world, all women are to blame, and the men (who do all the forcing and coercing) will have no part in the procreation.

You may wanna rethink this one.

  3. This is a very controversial subject and has been for a long time. I think one way to solve the problem of having unwanted children in the world would be to implement a better adoption program. There are so many couples out there that are not able to conceive a child and would love to adopt. The red tape and financial burden makes it next to impossible for the average person to be able to adopt a child in Canada. This means that couples are forced to adopt from China or Poland as it is easier than adopting a child in our own country. If we could change the adoption guidelines and make it more financially affordable, we would have less abortions.

    1. I Agree 100%. I don't understand why our adoption process is so difficult when we have good parents willing to accept unwanted children. I personally know a great couple who wanted to adopt and finally had to go to a foreign country (can't remember which at the moment). Good point, thanks for the comment.

Agree? Disagree? Lay it on me!
