Rule #211: Reggae music

Ok. Close your eyes and think about reggae music. Now tell me the first song that comes to mind. I bet I can tell y..... Actually, never mind. Open your eyes. Otherwise, how would you be able to read this. The point is I HATE REGGAE MUSIC. Now, I am fully aware of how many people I just offended. It seems everyone loves reggae music. But here's the problem. And it's not Bob's fault. It's the fault of every radio station in the world. When you hear reggae on your local radio station, what songs do you hear? Exactly! How many reggae songs can you name? Let me guess... 2. The same 2 that I can name. Buffalo soldier and Jammin'. How am I not supposed to develop a deep seeded desire to destroy my radio every time those songs come on. And what really pisses me off, is the fact that Bob was a really good guy. I want to love his music.

In the new world, when radio stations play Bob, they will be required to play all his songs or none at all.
And at least 2 Ram Jam songs instead of just "Black Betty"

  1. We all have different tastes in regards to music, so why should anyone be offended because you don't like reggae? Maybe you are in an area where you don't get to hear enough reggae from various artists for you to appreciate it, or maybe it's just fact that you don't like it at all. Either way, it's not a problem.

  2. Ya mon'! No problem mon'. You're absolutely right. I wish I could hear a better selection on the radio. Even when I go away, my destinations have become so Americanized that I still hear the same songs.

Agree? Disagree? Lay it on me!
