Rule #1: ...

How do we create a better world? I have to go back a year and reflect on what brought me here. What is the one way to create a better world? What was it that was driving me so nuts that I had to spend an entire year writing about it? Of  course! We have to create better people. I hear other people say it all the time. So we have to ask ourselves, “How do we create better people?” So many of us are a product of our environment. So lets create better environments.

From now on there will be no more unwanted pregnancies. No more abused children. No more children taught to take from others at all costs. No more children born into families who can’t provide. No more children living in land fills in India. No more children born into child slavery or sold to labor camps. No more bullies...

And how are we going to do this?

In the new world, every child born will be sterilized at birth and if someone wishes to have children of their own, they must prove that they are ready, willing and able to do so properly. In order to be granted unsterilization, they must fill out an application form outlining how they will provide for their child. They will also have to agree to teach their child how to be a good citizen and abide by the rules of the world.

Is this drastic? Yes. Are there a lot of you out there saying, “OMG, you can’t be serious, that’s like taking away our freedoms.” Well first of all, creating a new human being should not be a freedom. I’m not allowed to build a shed that’s too close my neighbors’ property line. You have to take a test before you’re allowed to drive a car.  yet any loser in the world can create a child. And as many as they want. And treat that child any way they like. It hardly seems fair to the child or the rest of us who are going to have deal with the assholes they create.

In the new world, everyone will be sterilized at birth.

AND SO IT SHALL BE WRITTEN!

PEACE!

  1. Well my friend, let me be the first to congratulate you on completing your blog. Entertaining to say the least, and I can honestly say I looked forward to reading it every day. Some of my favorites included "Left Turn Lolligaggers" and "Hot Chicks"... and who can forget "Cyanide Fishing" ??!!! (haha, you know I'm laughing as I write that !!)
But seriously, I hope you are proud of your accomplishment. It makes me see you as a different person, a deeper thinker than I previously may have given you credit for. And did I mention witty ? Who ever thought of giving Kim Jong Un a noogie ?? And those corporate, scotch sippin' fat-cats, I can see them now...
Well done Steve, can't wait to see what's in store for us next. Please include more funny cat pics...
    Thanks.

  2. Damn right. And each and every child allowed to enter the human race should be cocooned from society in a learning tank until adulthood, when they are deemed ready to join the population.

  3. Another amazing and interesting idea on how to make the world we live in a better place to be! I totally agree that there are to many unwanted and abused children and that they will more than likely grow up carrying around all that baggage and create more unwanted bad children. Great rule to implement and follow to create a better world, well done!

  6. Congrats on completing your year of rules. That is definatly an accomplishment and it was fun reading every day (even when we don't agree).
Right with you on rule #1 being the way to create a better world - (can you make rule 1.1 that it is legal to slap stupid people?)
Not everyone can have children, but sometimes those that can shouldn't and unfortunatly those that can't have to pay for them and are put through what seems like endless testing by government officials to prove they are capable. Why isnt this the rule for everyone?
I dont have children because i choose not to. Everyone says that i would be a great mom and i'm sure i would be, but sometimes i wouldn't be... Like when i want to take off for a weekend or sleep til noon or i dont feel like cooking so i have a couple of spoonfuls of nutella for dinner or when i spend a day stuck to the porcelain gods because of the antics from the night before. I dont want these things about me to change, but i'd have to with children and as that wouldn't make me unworthy of children, i wouldn't he the best parent. This is why i choose not to have children (besides the fact that something growing inside you sucking out all of your nutrients and being able to see their feet push through your belly is gross.)

Again, well done Steve. we will definatly follow any future blogs you may venture out into

  8. Hey Steve..

A real laudable attempt I must say. trust me, when I see children around me being treated badly, inhumanly.. it really hurts. In India another major problem about a child birth is - unwanted girl child. Still people live in a world where they believe in sex discrimination of a child.

Another thing which I'd like to bring to your notice (which you would like to change too) is some people around u who are so stubborn, reluctant and just don't want to change their thoughts. However hard you try to make them understand, put some better thoughts and a simpler approach to life they just won't accept it!!

I loved your beginning of the new set of rules. :)
